We’re making a few updates to our competition setup, effective from Saturday, 28th February 2026. These changes include a small fee adjustment and clearer prize structures for regular comps and Nearest to the Pin (NTP).
Competition Fees
- 18-hole competitions: Increasing from $12 to $15
- 9-hole competitions: Increasing from $6 to $7.50
Prize Structure
Prizes now scale with the number of entrants, with separate tables for 18-hole and 9-hole events. Winners and runners-up receive prizes per grade (where multiple grades apply). There’s also a ball run prize every 5 entrants ($5 for 18-hole, $2.50 for 9-hole).
Here’s how it works in practice with a couple of quick examples:
- Example 1: 12 players enter an 18-hole competition → 1 grade → Winner gets $25, Runner-up gets $15. Plus 2 ball run prizes (1 in 5).
- Example 2: 45 players enter an 18-hole competition → 2 grades → Each grade pays $50 to the winner and $25 to the runner-up. Plus 9 ball run prizes.
- Example 3: 8 players enter a 9-hole competition → 1 grade → Winner gets $12.50, Runner-up gets $7.50. Plus 1 ball run prize.
Nearest to the Pin (NTP) We’ve refreshed the NTP prizes for each day of the week, with great support from our sponsors. Details (including hole-specific prizes and conditions like per-grade vs open) will be in the attached table. Super Pin on the 17th starts at $10 and adds $0.50 per player – winner takes the lot!

These tweaks are all about keeping our comps fun, fair, and rewarding as we grow.
