Bendigo Golf Club COVID-19 Restrictions (effective 11:59pm Thu 10 Jun 2021)

  • Bendigo Golf Club is open for unlimited golf as per the current Victorian Government COVID-19 lockdown update announced today. The course is open to our members; guests, members from reciprocal clubs or green fee players are very welcome (subject to availability). Currently, residents from Greater Melbourne are not allowed access to the course. All persons attending the club must scan the Vic Gov QR code for BGC or complete details at the pro shop.
  • Some COVID-19 modifications are in play - don't forget social distancing (1.5m minimum). Flagsticks may now be removed or left in when putting. MiScore is available and recommended if you have a smartphone. There are no preferred lies in the bunkers as rakes have been returned. No ball washers in use. No drink taps in use.
  • Golf Competition is available every day.
  • Currently there are only 40 people allowed in the upstairs bar at any one time and all must be seated; 30 people are allowed in the downstairs bar under then same conditions.
  • The time sheets will revert to unlocking eight days ahead at 6pm.
  • Face masks must be worn outside if social distancing cannot be maintained. Masks must be worn inside at all times unless eating or drinking.
  • Golf lessons are available for bookings again.
  • Motorised carts may be used by any 2 people.

  The Bendigo Golf Club was established in 1901 and is situated just 10 minutes north of the Bendigo CBD. The course offers:
  • a blue 6,040 metre layout
    • men - slope rating 128, par 72
    • women - slope rating of 136, par 74
  • a white 5,824 metre layout
    • men - slope rating 126, par 72
    • women - slope rating of 133, par 74
  • and a red 5,353 metre layout
    • men - slope rating 122, par 71
    • women - slope rating of 127, par 73
which provides an enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfers.
