- Our resident Poets will be pooling their considerable talents to put on a special event on Friday October 12 so put this in your diary, and book in early.
- Apart from the magnificent luncheon that the Poets Society are planning, we will be inviting our major sponsors, providing them with some exceptional hospitality and a great day in recognition of their ongoing support for our club.
- The day will also celebrate the consecration of the “marriage” of the Eaglehawk and Bendigo Golf Clubs. There will be plenty of challenges on the day to test the organisational ability of our golfers who will need to plan out their round prior to hitting off…..
- Negotiations are planned for Chris Wilkinson to conduct a demo of the latest Drummond Golf equipment on the first tee from 10:45am
- Great trophies will be on offer with diners/players having the option of AM or PM play. The FGG Chairman is already planning on playing a significant role in the handicapping and local rules on the day.
- The POETS are throwing out a challenge to all our members – ladies and gents and their guests alike – that we can cater for a hundred plus guests!
- Forty dollars for a five star lunch, glass of magnificent Turners Crossing wine along with three trophies divisions will be on offer.
