font-size: small;\">The Golf Course, Clubhouse and driving range are subject to normal\u00a0dress regulations.<br \/>\nIt is expected that members and guests will maintain a\u00a0well groomed appearance whilst utilising these\u00a0facilities.<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"margin: 14px 0px 8px 6px; padding: 0px; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>ACCEPTABLE ITEMS OF DRESS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div style=\"align: left; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; margin: 0px; padding: 0;\">\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Tailored shorts may be worn by men or ladies.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Men&#8217;s shorts must be above the knee or 3 Qtr&#8217;s.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Men with shorts must wear either white socks or\u00a0anklet socks are\u00a0acceptable.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Men&#8217;s shirts must be worn tucked in.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Golf shoes with soft spikes must be worn on the course and practice areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"margin: 14px 0px 8px 6px; padding: 0px; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS OF DRESS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div style=\"align: left; padding-left: 6px;\">Tops displaying large motifs or advertising.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Shirts without collars (an exception applies to women&#8217;s attire and shirts that are specifically designed for golf).<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Track suit pants\/tops.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">Running shoes, thongs, sandals, or bare feet.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\n<p>When a new member is introduced and elected to the category of Ordinary membership (i.e. Every Day playing rights) the Proposer member will receive a $50 account credit upon the first renewal of Ordinary membership.<strong>Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; margin: -10px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 0;\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0px 0px 2px 20px; padding-left: 6px;\">new member must have never been a member of BGC previously.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 20px; margin: 14px 0px 14px 6px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Acting within the guidelines of the Victorian Golf Association\u2019s Heat Policy, which was prepared utilising information issued by Sports Medicine Australia, the Bendigo Golf Club has the following heat policy for scheduled Club Competitions. This decision has been made to reduce the risk of heat related injury and illness to players involved in Bendigo Golf Club events.<\/div>\n<div style=\"align: left; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\n<ol style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0;\">\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 14px; padding-left: 6px;\">Should the forecast temperature for Bendigo at 4.00pm on the day prior to a scheduled Bendigo Golf Club event be 38 degrees or above, the event for that day will be restricted to a morning competition only.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 14px; padding-left: 6px;\">The assessment of extreme hot weather (i.e. 38 degrees or above) will be undertaken by the Bendigo Golf Club Match Committee or representatives thereof with reference to the forecast temperature contained on the Bureau of Meteorology Website <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20210905044251\/http:\/\/www.bom.gov.au\/\">(www.bom.gov.au)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3px 0px 2px 14px; padding-left: 6px;\">Players, who have entered their names on the relevant time sheet for an afternoon hit off, should check with the Pro Shop to arrange a new time slot if weather forecasts indicate the possibility of extreme heat conditions.
